The Parsippany Redhawks (Parsippany, NJ) basketball nipped the visiting Newton Braves (Newton, NJ), 39-37 in Friday's non-league test.
The Redhawks (8-11) will now prepare for their test against Hopatcong (Hopatcong, NJ). The Chiefs go into the non-league test with a 4-18 record.
The Braves now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they travel to Hanover Park for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Newton will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 35-23 non-league loss to Morris Knolls (Rockaway, NJ). The Hornets record now stands at 13-5.
