The Webster Bearcats (Webster, SD) basketball knocked off the visiting Redfield Pheasants (Redfield, SD), 49-41 in Friday's league test.

The Bearcats (6-10) will now prepare for their test against West Central (Hartford, SD). The Trojans go into the non-league test with a 6-8 record. In their last test, West Central notched a victory over Madison (Madison, SD), 66-26, in a league test.

The Pheasants now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Tri-Valley for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Redfield will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 48-31 league win over Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD). The Mustangs record now stands at 6-8.
