In Friday's league match, the host Sabino Sabercats basketball team scored a good 61-46 triumph over the Safford Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Sabercats meet the Tanque Verde Hawks (Tucson, AZ) in a 3A South match, on Wednesday, February 7. Sabino will attempt to move on its 14-12 season record.
