The Myers Park Mustangs (Charlotte, NC) basketball knocked off the host West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC), 44-24 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mustangs (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Ardrey Kell (Charlotte, NC). The Knights go into the non-league test with a 3-10 record.
The Lions now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Hough for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. West Charlotte will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 34-18 non-league loss to Chambers (Charlotte, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 5-6.
