Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Grosse Pointe North drops to Dakota

In Friday's non-league test, the host Dakota Cougars ice hockey team scored a good 9-0 win over the Grosse Pointe North Norsemen.
The Cougars (12-7) will now prepare for their test against L'Anse Creuse North (Macomb, MI). The Crusaders enter the non-league test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, L'Anse Creuse North was trounced by Anchor Bay (Fair Haven, MI), 3-0, in a non-league test.
Next up, the Norsemen encounter the Marysville Vikings (Marysville, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 3. Grosse Pointe North will attempt to advance on its 1-17 season record. The Vikings enter the test with a 8-8 record after their 2-2 non-league Lakeview (St. Clair Shores, MI).
