In Friday's non-league test, the host Hartland Eagles ice hockey team scored a tight 4-2 win over the St. Francis Gladiators.
The Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Howell (Howell, MI). The Highlanders enter the Kensington Lakes - West test with a 31-8 record. In their last test, Howell by Gabriel Richard (Ann Arbor, MI), 4-2, in a non-league test.
Next up, the Gladiators encounter the Brighton Bulldogs (Brighton, MI) in a non-league test, on Saturday, February 3. St. Francis will attempt to advance on its 10-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the test with a 14-5 record after their 2-1 non-league win over DeWitt (DeWitt, MI).
