Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Burr & Burton Bulldogs (Manchester, VT), 52-27 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Poultney upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to Arlington Memorial (Arlington, VT) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-1.
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Essex Hornets (Essex Junction, VT) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 3. Burr & Burton will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 57-52 non-league loss to Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT).
