The Lakeland Cavaliers basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Great Bridge Wildcats to 45 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Friday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 4-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Smithfield for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5. Lakeland will battle a Packers team coming off a 45-42 non-league win over New Kent (New Kent, VA). The Packers record now stands at 15-2.
The Wildcats (2-16) will now prepare for their contest against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets come into the non-league contest with a 12-3 record. In their last contest, Deep Creek dropped by Indian River (Chesapeake, VA), 74-66, in a non-league contest.
