Virginia High School Basketball - Isle of Wight Academy tops Williamsburg Christian Academy

Isle of Wight Academy Chargers (Isle of Wight, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Williamsburg Christian Academy Eagles (Williamsburg, VA), 52-37 in a league bout.
With the victory, Isle of Wight Academy upgrades its record to 2-4 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to StoneBridge (Chesapeake, VA) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 6-7. StoneBridge lost 68-42 in their recent league challenge against Broadwater Academy (Exmore, VA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the The Carmel School Wildcats (Ruther Glen, VA) in a challenge, on Monday, February 5. Williamsburg Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 4-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 44-30 league win over Guardian Christian Academy (Chesterfield, VA).
