The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Horizon Scorpions (El Paso, TX) and the host Chapin Huskies (El Paso, TX), saw Horizon's soccer squad get by Chapin by a count of 1-0.

The Scorpions now hold a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Del Valle for a 5A Region 1 District 2 test on Tuesday, February 6. Horizon will meet a Conquistadores squad coming off a 2-2 non-league El Paso (El Paso, TX). The Conquistadores record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Chapin drops to 5-6 on the season. The Huskies host Jefferson (El Paso, TX) to meet the Silver Foxes in a 5A Region 1 District 1 test on Wednesday, February 7. The Silver Foxes come into the test with a record of 7-2. Jefferson won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against Hanks (El Paso, TX)
