The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Providence Pioneers (Burbank, CA) and the host Village Christian Crusaders (Sun Valley, CA), saw Providence's soccer squad knock off Village Christian by a margin of 3-1.

The Pioneers now sport a 5-13 record. They play next when they host EF Academy for a non-league test on Saturday, February 3. Providence will meet a EF Academy squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to The Webb Schools (Claremont, CA). The EF Academy record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Village Christian drops to 5-12 on the season.
