The Pocono Mountain West Panthers (Pocono Summit, PA) basketball toppled the visiting Abington Heights Comets (Clarks Summit, PA), 71-61 in Sunday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Stroudsburg for a non-league bout on Monday, February 3. Pocono Mountain West will play a Mountaineers team coming off a 64-54 non-league win over Pleasant Valley (Brodheadsville, PA). The Mountaineers record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Abington Heights falls to 10-8 on the campaign. The Comets travel to North Pocono (Covington Township, PA) to play the Trojans in a Lackawanna 1 bout on Tuesday, February 4. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 5-9.
