Massachusetts High School Basketball - Mansfield nips Whitman-Hanson Regional

In Sunday's non-league contest, the visiting Mansfield Hornets basketball team scored a close 57-55 win over the Whitman-Hanson Regional Panthers.
The Hornets (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Stoughton (Stoughton, MA). The Black Knights come into the Hockomock contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, Stoughton edged North Attleborough (North Attleborough, MA), 66-56, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Duxbury Dragons (Duxbury, MA) in a Patriot - Keenan contest, on Tuesday, February 4. Whitman-Hanson Regional will attempt to better on its 12-2 season record. The Dragons come into the contest with a 6-6 record after their 77-69 league win over Plymouth North (Plymouth, MA).
