Connecticut High School Basketball - Grasso Tech nips Killingly

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Grasso Tech Eagles basketball team scored a close 68-63 triumph over the Killingly Trailbazers.
The Eagles (12-3) will now prepare for their contest against Shepaug Valley (Washington, CT). The Spartans go into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last match, Shepaug Valley got by Lakeview (Litchfield, CT), 64-49, in a league match.
The Trailbazers now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waterford for a Eastern Connecticut II match on Wednesday, February 4. Killingly will face a Lancers squad coming off a 64-52 non-league loss to East Lyme (East Lyme, CT). The Lancers record now stands at 1-11.
