The Newton Rams baseball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Stockbridge Tigers to 7 in the Rams non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rams (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Hurricanes go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Monroe Area was overwhelmed by Athens Academy (Athens, GA), 3-0, in a non-league match.
The Tigers (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Heritage (Conyers, GA). The Patriots go into the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Heritage was overwhelmed by Tucker (Tucker, GA), 15-5, in a non-league match.
