Minnesota High School Basketball - Blackduck tipped by Deer River

The Deer River Warriors basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Blackduck Drakes to 57 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 18-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host International Falls for a non-league contest on Friday, February 24. Deer River will meet a Broncos team coming off a 93-75 non-league loss to Marshall (Duluth, MN). The Broncos record now stands at 2-20.
The Drakes (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Clearbrook-Gonvick (Clearbrook, MN). The Bears enter the A Section 8 contest with a 7-14 record. In their last contest, Clearbrook-Gonvick was nudged by Mahnomen/Waubun (Mahnomen, MN), 89-52, in a league contest.
