In Monday's non-league match, the visiting St.Ignace Saints basketball team scored a good 72-54 triumph over the Brimley Bays.

In their next game, the Saints meet the Newberry Indians (Newberry, MI) in a Eastern Upper Peninsula match, on Wednesday, February 22. St.Ignace will attempt to move on its 16-3 season record. The Indians enter the match with a 2-14 record after their 67-35 non-league loss to Manistique (Manistique, MI).

With the defeat, Brimley moves to 11-9 on the year. The Bays travel to Rudyard (Rudyard, MI) to meet the Bulldogs in a Eastern Upper Peninsula match on Friday, February 24.
