Michigan High School Basketball - Coloma nudges Dowagiac

February 20, 2023: Coloma, MI 49038

In Monday's non-league outing, the Coloma Comets (Coloma, MI) basketball squad edged the visiting Dowagiac Chieftains (Dowagiac, MI), by a margin of 55-51.

The Comets (2-16) will now prepare for their outing against Lawton (Lawton, MI). The Blue Devils go into the Southwestern - Valley outing with a 9-9 record. In their last outing, Lawton was tipped by Hackett Catholic Prep (Kalamazoo, MI), 76-37, in a league outing.

The Chieftains now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they host Buchanan for a non-league outing on Friday, February 24. Dowagiac will clash with a Bucks squad coming off a 45-31 non-league loss to River Valley (Three Oaks, MI). The Bucks record now stands at 8-10.
