The Rhinelander Hodags basketball team (Rhinelander, WI), was overwhelmed 73-42 in Monday's non-league battle with the host D.C. Everest Evergreens (Schofield, WI)
The Evergreens now possess a 16-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wisconsin Rapids Lincoln for a Wisconsin Valley battle on Thursday, February 23. D.C. Everest will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 56-49 non-league win over Tomah (Tomah, WI). The Red Raiders record now stands at 7-15.
The Hodags (7-15) will now prepare for their battle against Tomahawk (Tomahawk, WI). The Hatchets come into the Great Northern battle with a 5-18 record. In their last battle, Tomahawk was overwhelmed by Phillips (Phillips, WI), 77-54, in a non-league battle.
