The Grasso Tech Eagles basketball team (Groton, CT), was nudged 53-51 in Monday's non-league battle with the host Parish Hill Pirates (Chaplin, CT)
The Pirates now possess a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Achievement First for a Capitol Region battle on Tuesday, February 21. Parish Hill will confront a team coming off a 67-57 league loss to Bulkeley (Hartford, CT). The record now stands at 2-17.
The Eagles (6-13) will now prepare for their battle against Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT). The Cougars come into the non-league battle with a 6-13 record. In their last battle, Haddam-Killingworth was nudged by Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT), 68-49, in a non-league battle.
