The St. Mary Cardinals basketball team (Dell Rapids, SD), was nudged 63-60 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD)
The Cougars now sport a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Madison for a non-league battle on Friday, February 24. Viborg/Hurley will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 57-45 non-league win over Milbank (Milbank, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-8.
The Cardinals (14-4) will now prepare for their battle against Centerville (Centerville, SD). The Tornadoes come into the non-league battle with a 10-9 record. In their last battle, Centerville edged Sioux Falls Lutheran (Sioux Falls, SD), 56-32, in a non-league battle.
