The Pillager Huskies basketball team scored 72 points and held the host Moose Lake/Willow River Rebels to 45 in the Huskies league triumph on Monday.
The Huskies now sport a 8-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Swanville for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Pillager will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Little Falls (Little Falls, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-11.
The Rebels (2-19) will now prepare for their contest against Rush City (Rush City, MN). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Rush City triumphed over Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN), 50-40, in a non-league contest.
