In Monday's non-league outing, the Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA) basketball squad beat the host St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks (Greensburg, LA), by a count of 44-31.
The Farmers (18-5) will now prepare for their outing against Westlake (Westlake, LA). The Rams go into the non-league outing with a 9-8 record. In their last outing, Westlake defeated French Settlement (French Settlement, LA), 53-48, in a non-league outing.
The Hawks now hold a 17-13 record.
