Florida High School Lacrosse - Wharton can't get by Sickles

February 20, 2023: Tampa, FL 33647

In Monday's non-league test, the visiting Sickles Gryphons lacrosse squad scored a tight 12-11 victory over the Wharton Wildcats.

The Gryphons now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Alonso for a 2A D11 test on Saturday, February 25. Sickles will face a Ravens squad coming off a 11-1 non-league win over East Lake (Tarpon Springs, FL). The Ravens record now stands at 3-1.

In their next game, the Wildcats face the Steinbrenner Warriors (Lutz, FL) in a 2A D10 test, on Thursday, February 23. Wharton will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Warriors come into the test with a 2-1 record after their 17-5 non-league loss to Plant (Tampa, FL).
