The crowd at Monday's league test between the Cooper Cougars (Abilene, TX) and the visiting Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX), saw Cooper's soccer squad beat Lubbock by a margin of 4-0.

The Cougars now sport a 5-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cooper for a 5A Region 1 District 4 test on Tuesday, February 21. Cooper will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Wylie (Abilene, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Lubbock drops to 4-10 on the season. The Westerners host Coronado (Lubbock, TX) to meet the Mustangs in a 5A Region 1 District 4 test on Friday, February 24. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 2-14. Coronado lost 13-0 in their recent league test against Monterey (Lubbock, TX)
