Corona Panthers (Corona, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Montclair Cavaliers (Montclair, CA), 13-9 in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fontana for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 22. Corona will battle a Steelers squad coming off a 26-0 non-league loss to Temescal Canyon (Lake Elsinore, CA). The Steelers record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Montclair falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Ontario (Ontario, CA) to battle the Jaguars in a Mt. Baldy challenge on Monday, February 27. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
