The DeSoto Central Jaguars softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Oxford Chargers to 3 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, DeSoto Central improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Jaguars host Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to clash with the Commodores in a non-league game on Thursday, February 23. The Commodores come into the game with a record of 1-0. Lafayette won 9-4 in their recent non-league game against Southaven (Southaven, MS)
In their next game, the Chargers clash with the Pontotoc Warriors (Pontotoc, MS) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. Oxford will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
