In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting North DeSoto Griffins baseball team scored a tight 2-1 victory over the Holy Savior Menard Eagles.
The Griffins (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Washington (Shreveport, LA). The Lions go into the 4A District 1 game with a 0-0 record.
The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA). The Saints go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, St. Louis Catholic tipped Notre Dame (Crowley, LA), 10-3, in a non-league game.
