Texas High School Basketball - Somerville can't hold off Big Sandy

The Big Sandy Wildcats basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Somerville Yeguas to 64 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holland for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 22. Big Sandy will battle a Hornets team coming off a 72-57 non-league win over Flatonia (Flatonia, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 21-7.
