The Metro Academy Mavericks basketball team (Shawnee Mission, KS), was toppled 65-56 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Blue Valley Tigers (Stilwell, KS)
The Tigers now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Miege for a non-league battle on Friday, February 23. Blue Valley will confront a Stags team coming off a 63-49 non-league loss to Saint Thomas Aquinas (Overland Park, KS). The Stags record now stands at 3-14.
The Mavericks (20-15) will now prepare for their battle against South Metro HomeSchool (St. Paul, MN). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, South Metro HomeSchool beat First Baptist (Rosemount, MN), 52-46, in a non-league battle.
