The Bryan Station Defenders (Lexington, KY) basketball crushed the visiting Grant County Braves (Dry Ridge, KY), 80-56 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Defenders (22-4) will now prepare for their test against Madison Southern (Berea, KY). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 18-9 record. In their last test, Madison Southern walloped Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY), 105-83, in a non-league test.
The Braves now own a 12-17 record. They play next when they host Walton-Verona for a District 32 test on Tuesday, February 27. Grant County will encounter a Bearcats squad coming off a 72-49 non-league loss to Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY). The Bearcats record now stands at 20-9.
