The Ridgedale Rockets (Morral, OH) basketball nipped the host Buckeye Central Bucks (New Washington, OH), 41-35 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Rockets (12-9) will now prepare for their test against Elgin (Marion, OH). The Comets go into the Northwest Central test with a 3-18 record. In their last test, Elgin was tipped by North Union (Richwood, OH), 79-55, in a non-league test.
The Bucks now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they host Bucyrus for a Northern 10 test on Friday, February 23. Buckeye Central will encounter a Redmen squad coming off a 71-62 non-league loss to Riverdale (Mt. Blanchard, OH). The Redmen record now stands at 4-16.
