Veritas Christian Academy (Sparta, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Calvary Christian Lions (Old Bridge, NJ), 42-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Veritas Christian Academy upgrades its record to 22-7 on the season. The travel to Faith Christian (Roseto, PA) to clash with the in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Faith Christian won 70-55 in their recent non-league bout against Harmony Christian (Middletown, NY)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Moorestown Friends Foxes (Moorestown, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 23. Calvary Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 19-5 season record. The Foxes go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 47-29 non-league loss to Gloucester County Tech (Sewell, NJ).
