In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Chesaning Indians basketball team scored a good 59-45 triumph over the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers.
In their next game, the Indians meet the Ovid-Elsie Marauders (Elsie, MI) in a Mid-Michigan match, on Friday, February 23. Chesaning will attempt to move on its 21-0 season record.
With the defeat, Nouvel Catholic Central moves to 16-5 on the year. The Panthers travel to Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI) to meet the Cardinals in a Tri-Valley - Blue match on Thursday, February 22. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 9-12.
