Grayson County Cougars (Leitchfield, KY) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Daviess County Panthers (Owensboro, KY), 74-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Grayson County upgrades its record to 16-11 on the campaign. The Cougars host Hancock County (Lewisport, KY) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 8-15. Hancock County lost 63-47 in their recent non-league bout against Ohio County (Hartford, KY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Union County Braves (Morganfield, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. Daviess County will attempt to upgrade on its 22-6 season record. The Braves come into the bout with a 12-13 record after their 65-49 non-league loss to Caldwell County (Princeton, KY).
