Grand Prairie Gophers (Grand Prairie, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lake Highlands Wildcats (Dallas, TX), 55-49 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Grand Prairie upgrades its record to 20-16 on the campaign. The Gophers travel to Allen (Allen, TX) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 31-5. Allen won 54-32 in their recent non-league bout against Hebron (Carrollton, TX)
