The Lumberjacks enter the game with a 15-12 record after their 73-61 non-league win over Duluth East (Duluth, MN).

With the defeat, Marshall moves to 12-11 on the year. The Hilltoppers host Nashwauk-Keewatin (Nashwauk, MN) to face the Spartans in a non-league game on Thursday, February 22. The Spartans enter the game with a record of 7-18. Nashwauk-Keewatin lost 71-68 in their recent league game against South Ridge (Culver, MN)
