Kentucky High School Basketball - Walton-Verona trounced by Great Crossing

February 20, 2024: Georgetown, KY

In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Great Crossing basketball team scored a decisive 72-49 triumph over the Walton-Verona Bearcats.

In their next game, the face the Frankfort Panthers (Frankfort, KY) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, February 27. Great Crossing will attempt to move on its 29-1 season record.

With the defeat, Walton-Verona moves to 20-9 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY) to face the Braves in a District 32 match on Tuesday, February 27. The Braves enter the match with a record of 12-17. Grant County lost 80-56 in their recent non-league match against Bryan Station (Lexington, KY)
