In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Honesdale Hornets basketball team scored a tight 54-51 triumph over the Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans.
In their next game, the Hornets meet the Valley View Cougars (Archbald, PA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 22. Honesdale will attempt to better on its 7-11 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 18-5 record after their 74-48 non-league win over Tunkhannock (Tunkhannock, PA).
