The Hale Center Owls (Hale Center, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Panhandle Panthers (Panhandle, TX), 58-54 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Owls (23-9) will now prepare for their test against Clarendon (Clarendon, TX). The Broncos go into the non-league test with a 14-3 record. In their last test, Clarendon got by Sanford-Fritch (Fritch, TX), 75-61, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 16-12 record.
