In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) basketball squad edged the visiting Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN), by a margin of 47-45.

The Patriots (8-12) will now prepare for their outing against Bellmont (Decatur, IN). The Braves go into the non-league outing with a 20-4 record. In their last outing, Bellmont held off Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger (Fort Wayne, IN), 50-38, in a non-league outing.
