Kuemper Knights (Carroll, IA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host South Central Calhoun Titans (Lake City, IA), 54-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Kuemper upgrades its record to 20-4 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Grundy Center (Grundy Center, IA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 24. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 19-3. Grundy Center won 77-63 in their recent non-league bout against Aplington-Parkersburg (Parkersburg, IA)
