Minnesota High School Basketball - Mesabi East knocked off by Littlefork-Big Falls

The Littlefork-Big Falls Vikings basketball team scored 70 points and held the host Mesabi East Giants to 58 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Woods for a A Section 7 contest on Thursday, February 22. Littlefork-Big Falls will battle a grizzlies team coming off a 92-65 league win over Hill City (Hill City, MN). The grizzlies record now stands at 19-4.
The Giants (10-15) will now prepare for their contest against Crosby-Ironton (Crosby, MN). The Rangers enter the non-league contest with a 19-5 record. In their last contest, Crosby-Ironton was defeated by Park Rapids (Park Rapids, MN), 64-63, in a league contest.
