Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Bullitt Eagles (Shepherdsville, KY), 61-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Meade County upgrades its record to 14-14 on the season. The Green Waves host Fairdale (Fairdale, KY) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 22-7. Fairdale won 69-64 in their recent non-league bout against Western (Louisville, KY)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Whitefield Academy Wildcats (Louisville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. North Bullitt will attempt to upgrade on its 8-17 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 5-18 record after their 63-36 non-league loss to Carroll County (Carrollton, KY).
