Kentucky High School Basketball - Waggener knocked off by Western

The Western Warriors basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Waggener Wildcats to 63 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Warriors now sport a 7-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Southern for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Western will meet a Trojans team coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Louisville Collegiate (Louisville, KY). The Trojans record now stands at 9-20.
The Wildcats (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Valley (Louisville, KY). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 14-15 record. In their last contest, Valley ran past Brown (Louisville, KY), 69-54, in a non-league contest.
