In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Bishop Shanahan Eagles (Downingtown, PA) basketball squad edged the host Gwynedd Mercy Academy Monarchs (Gwynedd Valley, PA), by a count of 47-44.
The Eagles (12-11) will now prepare for their outing against Bayard Rustin (West Chester, PA). The Golden Knights go into the non-league outing with a 17-7 record. In their last outing, Bayard Rustin held off Lower Moreland (Huntingdon Valley, PA), 61-33, in a non-league outing.
The Monarchs now hold a 20-5 record.
