Illinois High School Basketball - Deer Creek-Mackinaw thwarts Canton

February 20, 2024: Canton, IL 61520

The Deer Creek-Mackinaw Chiefs (Mackinaw, IL) basketball knocked off the host Canton Little Giants (Canton, IL), 44-34 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Chiefs (32-2) will now prepare for their test against Peoria Notre Dame (Peoria, IL). The Irish go into the non-league test with a 30-4 record. In their last test, Peoria Notre Dame notched a victory over Bloomington Central Catholic (Bloomington, IL), 66-31, in a non-league test.

The Little Giants now own a 25-9 record.
