Michigan High School Basketball - Nouvel Catholic Central overwhelmed by Chesaning

The Chesaning Indians basketball team scored 54 points and restricted the visiting Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers to 24 in the Indians non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Indians now sport a 5-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ovid-Elsie for a Mid-Michigan contest on Friday, February 23. Chesaning will battle a Marauders team coming off a 51-27 league win over Hill-McCloy (Montrose, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 17-2.
The Panthers (1-20) will now prepare for their contest against Michigan Lutheran Seminary (Saginaw, MI). The Cardinals come into the Tri-Valley - West II contest with a 12-7 record. In their last contest, Michigan Lutheran Seminary triumphed over Reese (Reese, MI), 44-28, in a non-league contest.
