Minnesota High School Basketball - Sartell-St. Stephen knocked off by Elk River

The Elk River Elks basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Sartell-St. Stephen Sabres to 51 in the Elks league triumph on Tuesday.
The Elks now sport a 16-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Centennial for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Elk River will battle a Cougars team coming off a 74-55 non-league win over Spring Lake Park (Spring Lake Park, MN). The Cougars record now stands at 16-9.
The Sabres (18-8) will now prepare for their contest against Brainerd (Brainerd, MN). The Warriors enter the AAAA Section 8 contest with a 19-5 record. In their last contest, Brainerd ran past Rocori (Cold Spring, MN), 63-41, in a non-league contest.
