The Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY) basketball felled the visiting Powell County Pirates (Stanton, KY), 54-39 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (11-17) will now prepare for their test against Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY). The Lions go into the non-league test with a 8-15 record. In their last test, Elliott County thwarted Raceland (Raceland, KY), 54-46, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now hold a 14-15 record.
